Apply to Our School

TCC South/FWISD Collegiate High School admits about 100 freshmen students a year, and some 10th graders based on availability. Everything from application to acceptance to the school is handled by the Fort Worth Independent School District, with no decisions being made at the school level. Students are accepted through a lottery system run by the district.

IMPORTANT: TCC South Collegiate HS only accepts current 8th graders going into 9th grade next school year OR current 9th graders going into 10th grade. If your student is already in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, you may not apply to attend our campus.

How to apply?

CURRENT students who are enrolled and attending school in the district: 

1. Log into Parent Portal Account
2. On main page select child's name on the left hand side, in the drop down you will see the application for “Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice Application 2025-2026”
3. Click on the “Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice Application 2025-2026” link to complete your Gold Seal Application
4. Review and complete all sections of the application and Rank your 3 Choices. Be sure to attach all requested documents.
5. When finished with the application click “Submit & Finish” at the bottom of the page.

Need a Parent Portal Account? Visit fwisd.org/families/parent-portal to create and add your student to your Parent Portal.

 

FORMER Students are students who are not currently enrolled or attending a Fort Worth ISD school but did previously attend and were assigned a Fort Worth student ID number:

1. Log into your Parent Portal Account
2. On main page under Pending Forms you will see the option to complete the “Future School Year and Grade Level Form”.  You must complete this form in order to have access to other forms in your Parent Portal.
3. Once completed in the Available Forms they will see the application for “Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice Application 2025-2026”
4. Click on the “Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice Application 2025-2026” link to complete your Gold Seal Application
5. Review and complete all sections of the application and Rank your 3 Choices.
6. When finished with the application click “Submit & Finish” at the bottom of the final page.

NEW students are student who have never attended a Forth Worth ISD school:

1. Guardian will need to create a Parent Portal Account
2. Complete the “Parent Portal Registration” information fields to register your parent portal account. You’ll need a valid email address
3. Once you submit your Parent Registration form you will be navigated to “Add Students” page
4. Select “I would like to APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT for a new child.
5. Complete the required fields.
6. Under form Type select “Create New Student Account Form”
7. Complete the required fields New Student Account Form. When finished, click “Submit & Finish” at the bottom of the final page
8. Once complete and submit your New Student Account, you can add additional students or select “I am FINISHED adding students. Please take me to the Portal.” to complete a Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice Application
9. On main page select your child's name on the left hand side, in the drop down you will see the application for “Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice Application 2025-2026”
