Ms. Brittany Griffin
Counselor of 10th & 11th Grade
Brittany Griffin is the newest member of the TCC South Collegiate HS counseling team! She joins Fort Worth ISD with 10 years of experience in K-12 education, with 6 of those years as a professional school counselor. Prior to joining Fort Worth ISD, she worked at Vanderbilt University as both an instructional designer and program manager. Passionate about the social emotional development and academic success of learners, she’s grateful for the opportunity to create a safe space for students.
In her free time, she enjoys being active (she’ll try any fitness class at least once), spending time with friends and family, and live music.
Fun Fact: She loves basketball! If you ever want to talk about your favorite teams or players, feel free to stop by her office. She’s ecstatic to join the Comet family and looks forward to a great school year!"
Ms. Katricia Rubell
Lead School Counselor of 9th & 12th Grade
Katricia Rubell has 14 years combined experience working as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Instructional Specialist and CTE Business Teacher. Prior to entering the field of education, she worked as a Human Resource Recruiter with a Fortune 100 Company. She currently serves as the TCC South/FWISD Collegiate High School 9th and 12th grade Professional School Counselor.
Ms. Rubell's education includes earning a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Northwood University, where she graduated with Cum Laude Honors. Ms. Rubell enjoys spending time with her daughter, with friends, and family.
She is available to help students answer the following questions:
